This girl has transformed soo much over the past few years, who knew soo much beauty and style was hidden under that black eyeliner. I am in love with her style choices. I know that we will be seeing much more of this beauty in the future.

I have such a girl crush on this model. I love the fact that she is so normal, natural and loves to have fun. Definitely not like the model mould most models have to fit into. She is gorgeous!!!

 

 

Lush

I have discovered bath heaven. I love to bath, I can spend hours washing my hair, putting on face masks, exfoliating and if you add a magazine I can stay in for another hour. After a trip to the V&A Waterfront, I came across this little piece of heaven called “LUSH”

Products that look and smell good enough to eat, all handmade from natural products. I ended up blowing my toiletry budget on new soap, face wash and face masks. I have never had soo much fun shopping for soap and the options are endless. The staff are soo friendly and will not let you leave without trying almost everything the store has to offer. You have to try it!!!

 

 

Rihanna

I was there! Rihanna Diamonds World Tour at Cape Town Stadium. I was the girl covered in pink glitter, singing and dancing ridiculously to every song. Ri Ri looked amazing, and I loved every second of the night. The entire audience sang along to her songs, copying her dance moves and cheering her on to carry on with yet another song. This girl knows how to perform and exactly what her fans love to see. I want this night all over again.

Cream of the CROP

I love the return of the crop top. Reminds me of my 90's childhood with Britney and Christina baring their navels. I like this trend because you don't have to bare it all. The crop top looks great with something high waisted or where just a bit of skin shows. Perfect for summer!

 

Do blondes have more fun??

I have always loved the fact that I am brunette. You look good in almost every colour and are separated from the cliché of blonde girls and blue eyes. But I must say, for the last month I have been really jealous of blonde girls. It seems like all the hair trends are directed at them allowing them to have a lot ore fun. Silver hair, purple, pink, mermaid hair, ombre...
For just a minute I want to dream of  being blonde....

This has to be my favourite look for the season. It is definitely not for everyone. To keep it simple start off by wearing socks with brogues. Socks go with anything, heels, pumps and yes, even sandals (Fashionable ones of course!) Perfect for the start of summer.

 

Return of the Jellies

When I was little I remember my first attempt at a fashion statement- clear glitter jelly shoes. I wore them everywhere! With dresses, shorts, jeans, socks, stockings and even my pyjamas. As I grew up I was very heart broken to find out that these treasured shoes do not come in "big girl" sizes. No matter how much I tried to squeeze my foot in to make them fit, they didn't. As time went by I settled for other shoes, not to mention my disaster Spice Girl shoes- not my proudest moment! None of which gave me the joy of my Jellies. Imagine how happy I was to come across Jelly shoes again, and in my size!!!! I bought 2 pairs. Getting laughed at by a few closes friends who didn't quite get it, I wore them anyway and they are even better than I remembered. I love them!!! They are soo cute, extremely comfortable and can really be worn with just about anything. Some pics of my beloved jellies...

The Jellies have really taken over and I love to see how other fashion lovers are embracing the trend. 

 

I'm back...

It has been months since my last post and I am terribly sorry to have not kept you updated, besides my Instagram followers who were probably tired of my name popping up on their feed. After a long leave of absence and a new job, I have decided to re-launch my blog. Look forward to many more posts about fashion, food, places to see and a new addition- daily outfit posts. With tons of new inspiration and ideas roaming in my head I am ready to write again.
